Hi to all jazz fans.
This is an update, to let you know what is happening with the Wall City Jazz Band.
In the New Year, we will be playing at our new venue, Upton British Legion twice a month.
It will be the FIRST Tuesday of every month.
The address is Royal British Legion Club, Heath Road, Upton By Chester CH2 1HX.
There is a £4.00 charge on the door which includes a strip of raffle tickets for the chance to win one or two prizes.
The entry fees are solely used to pay the band, and for raffle prizes, so we are entirely dependent on the number of people who come to support us.
Come along to enjoy the music, have a dance and have a great night out.
The Wall City Jazz Men and Irene Martin.
http://uptonbritishlegion.org/The Wall City Jazzmen was founded in 1954 in Chester.
The 7 piece band are still going strong led by the excellent guitarist, Alan Jeffs who also plays bass depending on the line up.
Alan is joined by a fine set of musicians on trombone, trumpet, keyboard, guitar, bass and drums.
Irene joined the band in 2006 as their vocalist and brings her own relaxed style to the band.
They play on the 1st Tuesday night of each month at the Royal British Legion, Upton, Chester.
Good ales and drinks at reasonable prices.
