Hi to all jazz fans.
This is an update, to let you know what is happening with the Wall City Jazz Band.
In the New Year 2019 , we started playing at our new venue, Upton British Legion.
We have been playing there the first Tuesday of every month.
We do however, have some sad news.
December 3rd 2019 will be our last gig; the band has been going since 1954 is disbanding.
It has been a wonderful adventure and we wish to thank everyone who has supported us over the years.
No doubt you will still be able to hear us all in various other lineups in and around the area but for now it's goodnight from The Wall City Jazz Band and their singer Irene Martin.

The 7 piece band are still going strong led by the excellent guitarist, Alan Jeffs who also plays bass depending on the line up.
Alan is joined by a fine set of musicians on trombone, trumpet, keyboard, guitar, bass and drums.
Irene joined the band in 2006 as their vocalist and brings her own relaxed style to the band.
They play on the 1st Tuesday night of each month at the Royal British Legion, Upton, Chester.
8:00 start.
£4 entry.
